Moderation Process
The goal of coUrbanize is to encourage productive conversations and information sharing between community members, real estate developers, and municipal planners. Our community guidelines are designed to ensure that conversations are constructive, even when commenters don’t agree with each other. Thanks to our community guidelines, moderation, as well as our best practices around starting the conversation with the community, 80+ % of comments received on the platform are either positive or neutral. In addition:
- Every comment submitted goes through an automated check to ensure that it doesn’t contain profanity or other inappropriate material
- Every comment submitted is also reviewed manually by a member of our team to ensure that it meets our community standards.
You can also flag any comment received for review by our team by clicking For Moderation in the comment section of your admin panel.
